Here is the Winter 2026 edition of the New Jersey Mission Light, where you’ll find highlights about activities and events around the New Jersey District, including our upcoming district convention on Aug. 21-22, 2026 in Edison, NJ.  Be sure to add these dates to your calendar, and be on the lookout for registration materials in our next newsletter.

We have a special presentation on Sept.13th at 1pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset, NJ which celebrates the rechartering of their “LWML Sisters in Mission.”   They have an award-winning author, Rebecca Price Janney, who will be talking about her new book, “East of the Sun.”  Please join in this celebration!

District Mission Grants Updates

Thanks to your generous giving, we were able to fund our fifth and sixth mite grants of this biennium to Lutheran Braille Workers and to Our Savior – Fairlawn for a Friendship Bench for their Preschool Playground. Thank you for your cheerful giving and continued support as we “Serve the Lord with Gladness!”
