District Fall Retreat
Here is the Summer 2025 edition of the New Jersey Mission Light, where you’ll find highlights from activities around the New Jersey District, including our recent National Convention in Omaha, NE. There’s also registration information on our upcoming Fall District Retreat on Nov. 1st, entitled, “Joshua: Strong and Courageous” with Donna Snow!
We have a special presentation on Sept.13th at 1pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset, NJ which celebrates the rechartering of their “LWML Sisters in Mission.” They have an award-winning author, Rebecca Price Janney, who will be talking about her new book, “East of the Sun.” Please join in this celebration!

We will be voting on a new slate of mission grants at our 2026 LWML NJ District Convention. The deadline for mission grant submissions is November 15, 2025.
The updated full application and guidelines can be found below. Talk to your pastors and congregational members to get ideas of grants to submit.
Grants should be mission-focused and have their goals clearly stated, with the amount of funds needed.

Thanks to your generous giving, we were able to fund our fourth mite grant of this biennium to Concordia Seminary – St. Louis Re-Sell It Shops and Food Bank. Thank you for your cheerful giving and continued support as we “Serve the Lord with Gladness!”
2024-2026 Mission Grants

One of the greatest assets of the LWML is the women who are a part of it, and we all like to share our enthusiasm for the LWML’s mission and ministry.

LWML New Jersey District held its 25th Biennial Convention, “Living Water,” virtually on August 29, 2020 via Zoom.
