At the 2008 convention of the New Jersey District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) the following grants were approved for funding through our mites over the next two years:
Czech Youth Training -
Carry over from 2006-2008-Submitted by LCMS World Missions, St. Louis - $3,000
Czech youth lay leaders 13-25 years old participate in a three (3) year educational program on bible study, leadership skills, pastoral care, evangelism and missions. They learn to work with youth groups to help them share their faith with non-believers. This grant will cover one (1) year of youth training.
